There is no Smoke without Fireworks not for the MORANI's at least the First family of Fireworks in India.

Five decades and more into Pyrotechnics we are still in the business of inflaming the skyline sending up designer shells which bursts into hundreds of colors and designs, throughout the year.

It all began in 1937 when the Pyrotechnic Patriarch the late Mr. Gulamali Morani decided to give the existing fireworks manufacturers whose products he had been peddling - a run for their money.

He set up a small factory at Andheri (a Mumbai suburb) and it was not long before the Morani brand was recognized in the cracker market. Gulamali Morani genial at 77 stoked the fire way back in 1930's when from the Mangrol village in Kutch he and his brother Ismail dreamt of sparklers and fortune.

The family name Morardada was compressed to a more catchier Morani.

He invented the famous Champion bomb which soared high up on the charts to the number one atom bomb in demand.

The Morani brothers are market savvy and have turned exclusively to the special pyrotechnical sky shows which are definitely second to none in the international market.

Today the Morani's hold a virtual monopoly in the country for spectacular pyrotechnical displays and stage Pyrotechnics.

One close knit family the Morani's all live and breathe fireworks.

The pillar of strength behind the Morani success is their mother Gulshan G. Morani.
